Objective: Have your team win by making the best pictures!
Items Needed: Downloadable Document (bottom of page), Paper, Pens\Sharpie
How To Play: Setup the game by printing the downloadable document at the bottom. Then divide the group into four teams. There will be several rounds played in the game. For the first round let everyone play. Give them 1 minute to finish the drawing on page 1. Start the timer and let the whole youth group draw. At the end of the minute. have each team select only the best drawing from their team to be presented to the judges(Youth Workers, YP, YPWife). If you dont have any judges you can do popular vote from the crowd but that is harder since a most players are just going to vote for their team’s. Make sure to show everyone the four drawing while the judges are deciding so it is fun for the whole crowd. Pick a winner and give that team a point.
For the second round let the whole group draw again, but this time give them 3 minutes to draw only on page 2. Repeat the process of them selecting one per team, and have the judges judge again. THIS TIME HOWEVER INSTEAD OF JUST GIVING ONE POINT TO THE TOP WINNER – GIVE 3 POINTS FOR 1ST, 2 POINTS FOR 2ND, AND 3 POINTS FOR THIRD. iF YOU HAVE FOUR TEAMS THAT OK ONE TEAM WILL JUST NOT WIN THAT ROUND.
In the Third Round Select four players to draw on the hand prints. Each is given the same thing to draw and timed. The artist must incorporate the hand print into the drawing to qualify. Whoever draws the best thing is the winner! For fun you can hang up the winners for all to see 🙂
For Round Four select four different players, one per team. These players are then all given the same thing to draw, Instead of trying to make the best drawing, these players must get their team to guess the correct phrase or words by what the players draw on their “hand turkeys”. BUT THEY MUST INCORPORATE THE HAND TURKEY TO QUALIFY! The first team to have their team guess correctly wins the round. This round plays like Pictionary.
For round five do the whole group again. They will be drawing something random again like the first two rounds, but using the drawing on page three. This round plays the same except THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRAW A TREE ON THIS ROUND. (The drawing on page three looks like a tree.) Give them 1-3 minutes for this round. If this is the last round Score like this (1st – 12 Points | 2nd – 9 Points | 3rd – 7 Points | 4th – 4 Points) (If this is not the last round score as previous – 1st, 2nd, 3rd)
