OBJECTIVE:
Score the most Points by not getting caught by the JUDGE
ITEMS NEEDED:
Table, 5 Boxes (All the same type is best), Weights or songbooks, 100% Lemon Juice, Water, cups
HOW TO PLAY:
This game is played with five contestants at a time! They stand on the stage or in the front of the class so that the entire audience can see and hear them. Select one youth worker to be the JUDGE! The JUDGE is seated or standing near the stage but facing away from the five contestants so that the judge cannot see the contestants. The game is played in 3-5 rounds depending on how many times you want the same people to play. Each round the contestants have to do something to fool the judge into not correctly guessing their name. Every time a contestant fools the JUDGE they are awarded a point. No matter what round you are doing the contestants always go one at a time and the judge guesses immediately after person does their act. THE GAME HOST selects randomly each contestant and they must step forward and do their act. If they are guessed correctly DONT REACT! because the Judge does not know if they have guessed correctly or not and cant turn around until all five have gone.
ROUND 1: Each Contestant must make the noise of a MONSTER –
Doesn’t matter what noise or how they do it. They just have to make a sound a monster would make. It has to be loud enough for the judge to hear, and has to be at least 3 seconds long! Tell them this before the round starts. Then select one at a time the contestants randomly to go to the middle the first comes to the center stage so everyone but the judge can see them and then they make their sound. The judge guesses, and they go back to their spot. Continue until all five have gone. After the round is completed award points to anyone who didn’t get caught (guessed by the judge).
ROUND 2: Each contestant must make the noise of an ALARM –
Doesn’t matter what noise or how they do it. They just have to make a sound an alarm would make. This round is played exactly as the first round was played.
ROUND 3: Each contestant must choose a cup and drink the whole thing (use small cups) –
This round is fun and a little different. Now the judge can look at the contestants. Each contestant is given two cups in front of them on the table. One is filled with 100% lemon juice and the other is filled with water. One at a time the contestants reach down and grab one of the cups. The goal of this round is to get the judge to inncorectly guess which glass you selected. SO KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE IF YOU CHOSE THE LEMON JUICE or DONT IF YOU CHOSE THE WATER 🙂
ROUND 4: Each contestant must carry a box across the stage –
This round is similar to round 3 in that the contestant will be doing something while the judge is watching them. The goal of the contestant is for the judge to not guess correctly. Each contestant will be given a box they can either fill it with weight \songbooks\ whatever or they can leave it empty. One by one they carry their box across the stage and set it down on the ground or another table. They must try to fool the Judge into picking the opposite of what they did, so if they picked to carry an empty box then the Judge must say full or if they picked to carry a full box then the judge must say empty. Points are awarded to whoever fooled the JUDGE.
ROUND 5: Each contestant must Get Caught by saying the phrase in an accent –
This round is fun, cause now they must get the judge to guess correctly which accent that they are speaking – Each contestant is given the exact same phrase to say, but all are given a different random accent. They must say the phrase in the correct accent so that the judge can guess correctly. They cannot add words to the phrase.
