Objective:
Score the most points of the two teams!
Items Needed:
Large Space (gym or outside), Kickball, Football, Frisbee, (Other Objects *See Bottom for clarification), Bases or cones for bases, and a bucket
How To Play:
The game is played just like kickball one team kicks and one team fields. Score, innings, base running and setup is the same. The fun twist is the kicker doesn’t have to just kick one ball! The kicker gets three objects to “Kick”. In reality they can throw, kick, spike, karate chop, or whatever they want to do to get the objects in play. The fielding team is not allowed to move until the “Kicker” has put the first object in play. Once the “Kicker” has kicked or thrown any of the three objects the defense is allowed to move into action. The “Kicker” cannot run until they have released all three of the objects. Once they have released the objects their goal is to run the bases like normal kickball.
The Defense must get all three object back to a bucket that it sitting at the pitchers mound. Once all three objects are inside the bucket the play stops. ANY “KICKER” that is not on a base when all three are in the bucket is out! Any “Kicker” that is on a base when the three objects are in the buvcket is safe. There can be more than one out on a defensive turn (depends on if there are multiple runners not safely on a base.)
* If a “Kicker” kicks\throws an object FOUL then the defense does not have to retrieve that item to get the person out. Say the batter steps up to the plate. Kicks the kickball fair, tosses the football fair, but chucks the frisbee and it flies foul then the defense only has to get the football and kickball to the bucket to get the kicker out!
* You can use any object you want to make the game more interesting. I have used a foxtail, pingpong ball, football, volleyball, dodgeball, kickball, frisbee, squeaky chicken, and tennis ball. But the object can be anything you want. You can also switch the objects out in between innings, or and more objects like 4-5 things per batter.
