Objective:
Get the most points at the end the innings!
Items Needed:
Field, Bases, Kickball, and Uno Cards
How To Play:
Game is played as normal Kickball. Innings, Outs, Field size, etc. is all the same. The DIFFERNCE is what makes it crazy! Every time a kicker gets up to kick, they must first draw a random card from the uno stack (All cards are the special cards no number cards.) Each card represents something that that person must do on their turn, but only they know what the card is. They then kick the ball and use the card. Below are what the cards do in the game. The kicker reads the card and hands it back to the moderator who is holding the cards at home base (this way you don’t have to have 40 special cards just shuffle the cards back through the deck once they have all been used). They then kick the ball and run the bases how the cards say.
- Reverse – This one is pretty self explanatory. The kicker must kick the ball then run the bases in reverse order until they make it back to home base. They can stop on any base like kickball, but in order to score they must run the bases in reverse.
- Skip – This card the player does not have to use right away. They can use it any time as they are running the bases. They can only use it once while they are running the bases. They are allowed to skip any base and run directly to the next base. IE – they make it to first and are safe. The next turn instead of running to second they can skip it and run straight across the field to third. Or from second base they could skip it and run straight home!
- Draw Two – This card if drawn allows the player kicking to kick the ball and run the bases like normal except they must take a second person (the next person in line) with them in the base running. This allows you to score 2 points. If one is out both are out, but it only counts as one out.
- Wild – This one is fun! You can do anything with it – literally! Write on the card a unique thing for them to do like twirl like a ballerina all the way to first, or run while patting their head and rubbing their stomach, or skip down to first base, or eat a banana – whatever just have fun and make it wild!
- Wild Draw Four – This Card is Hectic so only have one 1-3 in your stack. The kicker kicks it and yells DRAW FOUR! All players on any base runs straight to home! The only way that the defense can get someone out during this card is by hitting them with the ball. Not by getting it to the base! If all all of the runners who are on base get home without getting out then the kicker scores a bonus goal since they don’t actually run on this play! IE – Kicker gets up, draws a draw 4, kicks the ball, and yells draw four (They can yell as the ball is being kicked or even before the pitcher rolls it. This way the people on base can have a heads up that they need to run home. Alerting early though also gives the defense a heads up to get the ball home, so it’s more of a strategy when they call it out but they must call it out!) there are two people on base one on first and one on second. Both make it safely to home so they get those two points and a third for the kicker who didn’t run, for a total of three points!
