Objective:
Score the most points for your team by not being hit
Items Needed:
Pool Noodles and masking tape
How to Play:
Mark off a section(alley) of two long lines with your masking tape, each side being 20-30 feet from the center point (total 40-60ft wide). this should give you a good alley which the players can run down. When done you should have a 40-60Ft wide X 20-40Ft long alley. If you have a classroom and dont want to move all the chairs, just make your center isle bigger and make the end of the rows your boundary. IF you are in a Gym use the volleyball lines as your boundary.
Divide the group into two teams Guys vs Girls! One team starts out side of the boundaries and can stand on either side. Each is then given a pool noodle. The other team starts on the one end of the alley. The goal for the team outside the alley is to throw their noodles at the person who is running through the alley. If the player running through the alley is not hit by a noodle before they reach the end line, then they get a point for their team. If they are hit before they get to the end then they are out and awarded no points for their team.
Each round only one player from the running team starts by running through the alley. Once they enter the alley the other team can start throwing. They must reach the end without getting hit. After the round is over and the player has reached the end (whether hit or unhit), allow the throwing team to all go get their pool noodles that they just threw and get back on the sides of the alley. Once all the noodles are cleared and the players are back behind the boundaries then the running team sends another player. Continue until the all the players have gone on a team.
Once the first team is finished they switch out and become the throwers, and the other team becomes the alley runners.
Whichever team has the most points(people who made it to the end without getting hit) at the end is the winner!
