Ezekiel 34:28 “And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.”
The Devil’s primary mission field is the hearts and minds of youth. If the devil can win them while they are young he may have them the rest of their lives. We must stand in the gap and make a difference in the lives of today’s youth; a dynamic Wednesday night Teen Ministry is one way of doing that.
The Vision
- To develop a second session of teen focused Bible training and Christian fellowship
- Work with your Pastor to get his heart and vision; build in cooperation with his vision not in competition to it
- Determine When and Where you will meet
- Decide What you will do. Do not have Sunday School 2.0; use this second and separate time to do something different
- A Wednesday program can add new members and prospects to the overall teen ministry
- A second teen session adds continued continuity to the overall teen ministry
The Plan
- Pray for God’s Blessings, Help, and Wisdom
- Be Spiritual and Be Biblical. This is not a club, its church
- Recruit help for getting teens there and for in-class helpers
- Develop the Order of Service
- Obtain a budget to work with or ask for snacks and donations
- Determine to be THE Destination on Wednesday night
- Promote it to your current teens
- Promote each week on your social media outlets
- Plan Theme nights
