Objective:
Pull the string with the prizes, but be careful you may get a surprise!
Items needed:
Prizes (some cash, snacks, etc.), String, Plate, Tape, Solo Cup Whipped Cream, Scissors,
Directions:
Setup: this takes a few minutes to setup
Cut the bottom of the solo cup halfway off then put it on the table with the cut bottom side up. Cut one piece of string per plate you have for the round. Tape one end of the string to each plate. Then take the other end of the string and run them through the end of the cup that is faced down all the way up through the cut end. That way the contestants cant see which string to pull they have to just pull a random string.
Call up as many contestants as you have plates. Each player goes one at a time and pulls one of the strings – whatever is on the plate the contestant gets. If its a prizes then they got lucky and get to keep the prize, but if they pull the plate with the whipped cream they get that in their face. It is a blast for an activity like a shut-in, youth conference, etc. but maybe not for Sunday morning if they have dress clothes.
*** If you don’t want messy surprises, then just make up things they have to do like stand on one foot, give a eulogy for a pet cat named pickles, etc. Just funny things to embarrass them.
