Philippians 3:8 “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,”
Life if full of choices. We make our choices and then our choices make us, so choose wisely! Paul was living for himself until he met Jesus, oh man what a day that was! You can read about it in Acts 9. From that moment and onward Paul had to make a choice: live for Jesus or live for self. By the way, every saved person has to make that same decision every day of their life.
When Paul met Jesus, he made the decision to give his whole heart, mind, soul and body to Jesus. Jesus became his YES. He wanted to live for Jesus, whatever Jesus wanted him to do the answer was YES Lord! When he said yes to Jesus had had to say no to himself, and to the world ,and especially to the devil. So, Paul’s YES decided his NO.
You need to decide what your YES is life. What are you going to live for? I hope like Paul it’s for the Lord. If you are going to say YES to the Lord then you are going to have to say NO to other things, you can’t live for the Lord and for the Devil or for yourself at the same time. Decide your YES and let your YES decide your NO.
We make our choices and then our choices make us, so choose wisely!
