Objective: Score the most points for your team without leaving your seat!
Items Needed: Ball, Chairs, Trash Cans
How To Play:
Divide into two teams (These can be a variety of sizes depending on how many people are in your youth group and how much space you can use). Team one has seven players and team two has seven players. The game starts by every player standing up holding onto their chair. The teams are then given 30 seconds to space their team out between the two baskets (trash Cans) which are on either side of the room. Once the time is over the contestants must stop where they are and sit in their chair. They will remain in that exact location until a point is scored. The rules are simple – Players must not scoot\move their chair once they are seated. Players must advance the ball toward their goal by passing to their teammates never handing it off. Players may not touch any other player, but they may play defense and try to interfere. No player is allowed within 4 feet of either goal. If the ball hits the floor it becomes unplayable and possession goes to the other team. If the ball is intercepted then play continues. When one team scores by making the ball into the goal then both teams are given ten seconds to readjust their spots and change where they want to sit. After the adjustment period the next team gets to start with the ball and play continues. First team to ten points wins!!!
