Acts 27:25 “Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.”
I enjoy American history. I believe every born again Christian should study the history of the good old U.S.A. American history is full of tremendous stories of people who sought God and fought great enemies. I really enjoy the story of Captain James Lawrence who during the War of 1812 gave his dying command, “Don’t give up the ship.” Glory to God! I love America! We need to be thankful for what God has done for us and the protection He provides. “Don’t give up the ship” should be our battle cry as Christians. It is disturbing how many people who once held onto the King James Bible, God honoring music, and God pleasing standards have compromised and given up the ship. Keep fighting for right, Christian! Your country and church needs you to stand, not quit! I have heard many people state that revival is no longer possible for America. That infuriates me. Our attitude determines our altitude for God. In the middle of a terrible storm, Paul states that he believes God in Acts 27:25. That’s where I am at. Will we allow the biased media to form our thoughts or will we allow the Bible to form our thoughts? God is all powerful. God is able. God still can. I know our country is in gross sin. I know that it looks bleak, but I still believe God can! Will you join me?
