Psalm 27:11 “Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.”

I recently did a study on the word “path” in the Bible. I really enjoyed the study on Psalm 27:11 where David asked God to lead him in a plain path. A plain path is a proven path. A plain path can be easily seen to have good results. A plain path is needed because we have many enemies out there that want to destroy us.

A plain path with God will lead us away from alcohol, media addiction, and immoral relationships. A plain path will cause us to serve God while others are wasting time. A plain path will allow us to see the will of God. So often, we get caught up in where God wants us over what God wants us to do. Just roll up your sleeves, and work where you are at, and you will find yourself in God’s perfect will.

I want to see the fire of revival fall again. I know I will never see it walking in unproven paths. I want to keep a sweet spirit while walking in a plain path. Hey Christian, don’t doubt in the dark what God told you in the light!! We need people to walk in plain paths.

Always remember that quick reactions always remove the hand of God! It boils down to us wanting the product without the process. God has been so good to us. Walk in the plain paths and you can never improve on God’s way. We all need to ask God daily to lead us in a plain path.
