What can I Give Jesus for Christmas

Revelation 5:13 ” And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”
There are many types of gift givers. There’s the Practical Giver. The person that gives gifts that are needed and things that will be used. T-Shirts, socks and the like. The Gag Giver. The crazy person that always gives gifts that are funny, jokes or little knick knacks. The Simple Giver. This person just cuts to the chase and gives gifts of gift cards, checks or cold hard cash. Then there is the Perfect Giver. They always give the perfect present every time. It’s like they just know what you want or like.  Regardless, what can we give Jesus? He has so much. He is perfect. He is Jesus. But here are some things we can give Jesus.
1. Blessing–  This is adoration with consecration. Speaking well of, imploring happiness.
We give Jesus blessing by giving Him our Speech.
We can stop lying, cursing and criticizing.
We can start encouraging, witnessing, helping.
This is how we give Jesus Blessing for His Birthday.
2. Honour– The word honor means valued, esteemed, worthy.
We give Jesus Honour by giving Him our Substance.
When we give of our treasure, time, things, and life; we are not giving these because God is in need. We give because we want to give Him Honour. We want to esteem him worthy.
We should give Jesus Honour.
3. Glory– The word glory means praise, worship, fame, renown.
We give Jesus Glory by giving Him our Service.
When we attend church, it is for God’s glory. He is the reason we come.
Sing the hymns, tell others, be faithful it is for God’s glory. He is worthy of our praise.
We should give Jesus Glory.
4. Power– The word power means dominion, rule, influence, governing.
We give Jesus power by giving Him our Surrender.
We can give Jesus the power over our lives. Let Him control our attitudes, activities, actions, appearance and appetites. Give God power in your life.
