Luke 19:30 “Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you imagine being included in the Bible? What an absolute honor and privilege! At least if it is for a good thing! I would not want to be Balaam and be in the Bible for being dumber than my donkey. The Lord included this young humble mule, the colt, meaning a young donkey, in all four of the gospels. Great kings and priests didn\u2019t make it into the Bible, but the donkey did. I believe there is an important message to learn from this mule. Are we:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Focused on Fun or Faithfulness \u2013 <\/strong>Youth is a time of fun and freedom. No job, no bills, no worries. Jesus sat on the young donkey, not the old one. Are you willing in your youth to live for the Lord? Are you willing to lift up Jesus and let Him be glorified in your life? No one was looking at the donkey that day, they were all looking at Jesus. Are you ok with that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stubborn or Submitted \u2013<\/strong> Donkeys, also knowns as mules, are known for being strong hard workers, but they are also known for being stubborn. In fact, God compares the stubbornness of people to a mule in Job 11:12. This donkey was not stubborn, he was submitted. Are we?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Available or Unavailable \u2013<\/strong> I have always marveled at the words of our Lord, \u201cthe Lord hath need of him.\u201d Can you imagine that? The almighty God of the universe had need of a young donkey. God had a plan and a purpose for that donkey (Matthew 21:4-5). God also has a plan for you. God has limited Himself to working through us, through YOU. Are you available like this donkey was to do your part in God\u2019s plan?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If God can use a donkey, He can use you!
