Acts 2:17 “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After preaching yesterday a.m. for the 300th time in 2021, in the pulpit of the Waits Baptist Church pastor Brent Saxton , I wanted to give to young preachers, or those not so young, the principles of reaching goals, targets, and yes, even visions as a young preacher. I often say, “I’m living the dream!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are 7 keys to reach goals in the ministry, especially for young preachers:

1# FIND A MENTOR

2# LIVE CLEAN

3# LISTEN MORE THAN YOU TALK

4# COUNT THE COST

5# DON’T CHANGE

6# GET A PRAYER CLOSET, LONG BEFORE YOU EVER GET AN OFFICE

7# HAVE THE TOUCH OF GOD UPON YOUR LIFE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So there they are, and they’ll work for any young preacher, and if you’ll implement these keys into your daily life, one day, and it will be sooner than you change realize you’ll be saying as well, “I’m leaving the dream!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
